I seriously hope the Murray Carter handles are not plastic.

Have used the Spyderco kitchen knives for 20 years,,, excellent value and decent steel.
Esppecially the longer straight bread knife.

FK

What are the handles made from? They look like G-10.

Looks like this will be my introduction to Super Blue . I'm hoping these are coming in around ~$240 or under. Time will tell :spyder:

Am I the only one who thinks it would be really fun for Murray Carter to sharpen one of his Spyderco collaboration kitchen knives on a set of Spyderco benchstones and then shave with the knife? =P

I could handle in the low $200's and grab one knife. I wish they had a long carving knife that was a little less "tall" if that is the right word. From edge to the spine. That large chef/carving knife is a little taller then I would want, but I would still grab one of those awesome knives.

Yes, as I recall, black and brown "burl" G-10 handles with black G-10 ferrule and white G-10 spacer making a traditional Japanese octagonal handle.

Those look rad.

I already have family knives, and dedicated daddy only knives. Maybe I can shuffle some from one collection to the other and replace some daddy only knives.

Curious what kind of magic trick Murray pulled to score the spydie-hole delete on his knives... Or is that all kitchen knives get the exception?

Unfortunately, it looks like the Z knives retain the hole v.v

Maybe he wasn't licensed to use the hole. :p
