Sal,

Delica sized knives are generally too small for me to use comfortably for extended cutting.

Any chance we could see a larger wharncliffe?

My palms are wider than a Delicas handle is long. I have to sand off the finger grooves and forward guard to fit my hand on a Salt 2 / Delica 4.

I think a salt wharncliffe sounds like the best EDC knife that could be made...but I'd want it at least sized similar to the Pacific Salt. Maybe I should just buy an Atlantic Salt and take my belt sander to the tip...

I know a Delica sized knife will sell better though, so it makes more business sense. Looking at the EDC rotation thread makes that obvious.

Hi Vivi,

What model would be ideal for you in a Warnie?

Pacific Salt 1 is in my pocket right now. That would work. Police or Military would be an insant purchase as well. Really anything sized between the Pacific Salt and Police works for me.

I've been carrying the Ronin 2 nearly every day the past month, and I really like the amount of cutting edge it offers.

EDIT: How about modifying the Cara Cara Rescue? Full flat ground, pointy tip, PE and SE, possibly an upgrade to CTSBD1?

I feel silly asking this... I know what the delica wharnie is but what's a "jazz-elica?"

Yes. Off course. FFG LC200N, please

Re: rivy - they both the same knives. Jazz was the member who designed wharnie Delica.

I still have my vote on a Caly 3.5 sized wharnie, but I agree with Vivi that a larger (Pacific, Endura, Millie) sized option would be nice.

For a Salt version, definitely LC200 for PE, if it holds a better edge, but this one should be in PE and SE, for rope and whatnot, in my opinion.

For a larger wharnie, the Endura would be a logical choice.

A Pacific Salt wharncliffe would definitely be very interesting!
