I'm back and excited for the sale. I've been the last two years and it's always a very nice group and great discounts. Hoping to pick up some gifts for Christmas and my groomsmen for next year.
Also looking for more broken knives to modify and fix and some stainless models to laser engrave. I completely missed the caly 3s in green this year. There usually aren't many of those models but I am hoping to get lucky since it's my favorite edc.

The non-seconds are stealing the show again. Factory first Southard is 125, Firefly is 75, Friction Folder is 40, etc. etc.

Its raining in Boulder tonight, hopefully Golden stays dry. Got a camp chair and a throw blanket, now I just need to decide when I want to wake up and head there from Boulder.

A few favorites are the Advocate (a steal at $60), the Magnitude, the wood and Hap40 Delica, and the 40th Anniversary Native. The best deal for me was probably actually the NIB overstocks, ($90 Vrango, $75 Firefly, $125 Southard).

I also won a free black Dog Tag (NIB) for correctly guessing that Spyderco has exactly 100 employees in Golden. The more you know... :spyder:

I picked up a Magnitude, Mamba, 40th Anniversary Native, fluted Ti Native and EuroEdge, among others. I gotta agree with GoldenSpydie, some of the best deals were the NIB overstock and I picked up several of those.

I also won a black Dog Tag for correctly answering what CQI stands for. During later trivia, I also won myself a couple acrylic Spyderco bug cut outs and a EuroEdge pin.

What a haul.... the Caly....

Not as many knives this year as in years past, but I did get there after noon (1215). There was still a small line out the door and I spent about an hour and a half in line (1345) and about the same amount of time inside circling the two tables once.

Found two needles (lefties), one surprise (CF M4 PM2) and saw at least three CPM 154/CPM S90V Manix 2s for $125.

There were a ton of Maxamet Natives. I'm not sure why so many, but I wish I'd grabbed a handful to resell.

I just wanted to say thanks to Spyderco for running such a smooth sale. They were very generous and bought a bunch of pizza for those of us freezing our butts off on Friday night and on Saturday had coffee and pastries. They also had a bunch of trivia prizes that day (ranging from pins and USB drives to black Dog Tag folders) that they gave away until mid-afternoon. Another great sale.
