BTW, note to all: FedEx is your friend. You get what you pay for.
Just not FedEx *Ground/Home* they're worse by far in my experience than any other carrier, including DHL.

FedEx Express really is tops though, you just have to be willing to pony up two to five times the shipping cost compared to "regular" delivery options.

I get packages all the time that are marked delivered on the tracking but don't actually get delivered until the next day. It's dumb and irritating, but it happens.

Our regular postie signs for me when we're out. Not strictly correct, sure, but saves loads of time and hassle.

Your guy may have made a mistake, that's all.

I always try and allow people a "way out" whilst saving face, as well. Helps things in the future.
