Like the autos and the various, previous, balisongs- this is one Spyder that isn't going to end up at Casa Demoncase, UK laws being what they are....

Doubt they'll be available in the Netherlands. I hear maybe Belgium. Any of you Dutch folk know any retailers there? No way I'm goin to try to get that past customs in the mail. I've been waiting a month plus for a Yo2, Ronin2 and a Reverse.

I think you're allowed to own one so long as you don't carry it outside your house and if you order one from a European dealer then I don't think it goes through customs as there is no VAT or import duties to pay. Otherwise it might be an idea to take the Mrs. on a "Romantic", weekend break to France or Finland :)

A lovely idea- sadly, in the UK, unless demonstrably made before 1955, it counts as a Section 5 Offensive Weapon- falling into the same broad category as sawn-off shotguns and rocket launchers
