The Manbug...Impressed

Just got that Manbug earlier this week. Almost lost it already. Gotta get it on a keychain or something.

I can't recall whom it was, but I vaguely remember a user here that has a very nice Grey G10 Jester that they ground the spine of the blade down and it looked like a mini Stretch!

I'm a sucker for the jimping on the spine of a Jester, part of the reason I like it better than ladybug, but yours look like it should/could have been a factory option as well.

I always have one of these two Manbugs on me. Always.

The G10 Manbug was my first Spydie and it didn't just bite me, it consumed me completely. The Caly seen here was number 2 and the deal was sealed with an intense burst of Spyder venom.

I had the Ladybug, but even if the difference is small I prefer the Manbug.
So much that my black FRN is not alone anymore, Superblue came in a few days ago ! :)
I also agree for the fobs (little things at the end of the knife) on this size of knife ! So helpfull !

Same here. The small differences make a huge difference in my hand. I always liked the Ladybug. I love the Manbug...in a manly sort of way. :p

...and now I have the g-10 Manbug incoming. :spyder:

How much heavier is the bolstered G10 version? I love the ability of the FRN to just disappear until needed. Don't want to feel like I'm carrying a roll of dimes in my pocket, although I do enjoy how the G10 Manbug looks.

G-10 1.5oz/43g

The G-10 is noticeably heavier in the hand but still doesn't weigh down the pocket.

Few things make that the G10 Manbug is actually not on my top wish list.
I don't really like the bolster ! (the thing in metal on the handle) It broke the line(s) !
It cost nearly as much as the G10 Dragonfly ... (About 100 € for both...)
The G10 Manbug weight is nearly as much as the G10 Dragonfly... (G10 Manbug : 43g / G10 Dragonfly : 56g)
