Yes sir, I most certainly agree. In fact, I watched it last night on TV. :) My uncle can basically quote this movie word for word--it's kinda' scary. I like the Goonies too. Good stuff.
I don't think I could do the whole movie, but just about scene for scene. I don't really watch TV shows, but I almost always have a movie playing for sound if I don't have music on, and that's one of the movies I've seen at least 100+ times since it came out.
Since we're on the movie subject (not so much quotes), one of my other all time favorites is a really obscure movie that people tend to either love or hate or just not get at all...it's called Quest For Fire and was one of the first movies Ron Pearlman ever did (may have actually been the first?). It's more or less a silent film unless you count the cave man dialog that they created from scratch for the movie.

Speaking of obscure (or at least campy), here's a movie that always made me laugh--Army of Darkness (1992):
Ash: Yeah!
[after shooting King Arthur's sword in half]
Ash: Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

Ahh yes, the Evil Dead trilogy....also a big favorite. I have a Todd McFarlane 18 inch of Ash.
That whole movie is one liner gold

Ha that's why I posted that initial pic, you could almost choose any line from that movie for this thread.

1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Who goes there?
King Arthur: It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot. King of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of all England!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Pull the other one!
King Arthur: I am, and this is my trusty servant Patsy. We have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of knights who will join me in my court at Camelot. I must speak with your lord and master.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: What? Ridden on a horse?
King Arthur: Yes!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: You're using coconuts!
King Arthur: What?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
King Arthur: So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through...
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Where'd you get the coconuts?
King Arthur: We found them.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Found them? In Mercia? The coconut's tropical!
King Arthur: What do you mean?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Well, this is a temperate zone
King Arthur: The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
King Arthur: Not at all. They could be carried.
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: What? A swallow carrying a coconut?
King Arthur: It could grip it by the husk!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.
King Arthur: Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Arthur from the Court of Camelot is here?
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?
King Arthur: Please!
1st soldier with a keen interest in birds: Am I right?

"Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony"

Basically one of my favourite movies of all time. Quick quote, not the best but funny.
Jack Burton: "Too many people around here been dropping like flies already and where is that taking us? Nowhere, fast. You know what old Jack Burton says in a time like this?"
Thunder: "Who?"
Jack Burton: "Jack Burton, me! Old Jack always says, what the ****"

Dennis: Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you. :D

Speaking of so many quotable lines, Jabba. You mentioned Paul Newman earlier...
Cool Hand Luke:
"Dragline: Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke: Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand."
&
"Luke: I can eat fifty eggs.
Dragline: Nobody can eat fifty eggs.
Society Red: You just said he could eat anything.
Dragline: Did you ever eat fifty eggs?
Luke: Nobody ever eat fifty eggs.
Prisoner: Hey, Babalugats. We got a bet here.
Dragline: My boy says he can eat fifty eggs, he can eat fifty eggs.
Loudmouth Steve: Yeah, but in how long?
Luke: A hour.
Society Red: Well, I believe I'll take part of that wager."
-A friend tried this once. It got gross really fast, lol.

"Let my people go!"
-Moses
"You are going to be mine, all mine, like my dog or my horse or my falcon. Only I will love you more...and trust you less."
-Rameses
"A city is built of brick, Pharoah. The strong make many, the starving make few. The dead make none. So much for accusations."
-Moses
The Ten Commandments
I could do this all day. This would be my favorite thread if it weren't for the Amsterdam pics.
