What I like the most is the control and leverage that the short blade and the choil give you - for example when opening a clamshell plastic package where you need to cut through the plastic but not into the product or through the cardboard into the table! Also when cutting around corners or anything where you need lots of control, the dragonfly is a winner.
Thanks Bruno, I am anxious to give it a try.

Just ordered the olive drab G-10 model from Rakuten. Thanks, all you facilitators :p This one has been at various levels on my want list for a long time, not at the top lately because I've had doubts about it's small size, but was turned around on that score by reading all your comments. I've got nothing against the FRN model and hope to get one, probably with a ZDP blade if I like this one OK.

I had piled up $42 worth of Rakuten points that were about to expire, and after Christmas, they added $10 worth more to my account, getting the price down from $77.88 to $25.88, and for the next couple of days, they're giving 10X extra points for purchases, so I'm gonna give the little fellow credit for $7.78 off a future purchase, making it cost only $18
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

I have the orange FRN DF2
but very recently I've also been having second thoughts about my choice..I think the G10 would probably feel better in hand.
Maybe I'll be getting that one as well..but then I think maybe I should spend the money on another knife instead of 2 dragonflys ahh it sucks when money is an issue lol

That was my dilemma exactly. However, I really do have plenty of great EDC knives for bigger chores. If the DF was going to be my primary knife or my main EDC, I would have gone for the G10 in a heart beat but it isn't. As a result the practical side of me won this battle. Still doesn't keep me from second guessing my decision though :D Amazing how much time one can obsess over a fifty dollar purchase.

My plan was to have the G10 become my only EDC knife, replacing my current FRN DF-2. Then I learned about the Chaparral, so I ordered one of those. I should have that in a few days. Depending on how I like that, it may replace the DF-2 as my sole EDC knife. Such difficult choices.

Two great choices.

My (slight) nod goes to the Chap 1.

But neither compares to my Memory as a totally sweet ride ;) I am so loving that knife.
