Super Strong knife, The ONLY thing that made the lock fail for me was when I needed to do some hard cutting on a split branch, used the piece of branch on the spine for leverage putting a lot of force o the spine, effectively disengaging the lock that is due to it not being radiused, If you want fail safe under the harshest conditions, i recommend the para2.
Superleaf and manix would be good too

Look into any of the following: BUSSE, Scrapyard knife works, Swamp Rat knife works, ESEE, that have the warranty to go with the knives as well. They do smaller models as well.

Not even a big folder will be able to take the abuse a smaller fixed blade can IMO.

Here are some pictures.

Going to really need some more parameters.

Ps. Welcome to a whole new world!

Boy hes making a good point here. When I head out to work on fences or do trail maintenance on my farm I take the bradley but also my Condor Rodan (think budget version of ESEE 1080 instead of 1095 and fit and finish from el salvador not USA). If the job that shows up is too big I head back to the barn and might grab bolt cutters, my estwing axe and my chainsaw. I think everybody should use the right tool for the right job. Whats nice about the bradley is that you can cut things that regular blade steel wont cut. But my axe and a file and tinsnips and bolt cutters and a chainsaw go onto the ATV when I have real "hard use" going on.

What do you need to cut in your workday . How "politically correct" is your work environment? (Fixed blades freak out the "Sheeple")

Well the thing is we can suggest something such as a Chris Reeve Umnummzaan, Rick Hindere XM-18 and the latter can range from $400 to $1300.

It is difficult to suggest knives without a budget in mind.

Please dont get upset for people on the internet, just not worth it, just want to be clear so we dont suggest stuff out of your budget. BUSSE as I recommended are $200 upwards sometimes. That is a high price for MANY people looking for suggestions.

The 100 price range is a good one! You get quality materials and performance and you are correct, got some very good suggestions.

Manix 2 XL is FFG s30v

Manix 2 is hollow ground 154 cm

*supposedly the new production Manix 2 is supposed to be ffg s30v going forward at some point (not sure when)

You sure about FFG? I just heard the s30v upgrade at around the same (if not the same) price range.

CPM-S30v will hold an edge better and I believe is a tad tougher. The grain structure should be more evenly distributed via the CPM process. You can prob read about it by searching.

Both are a stretch from steels like M4, M390 and S90v but great or work knives. I doubt either will disappoint.

I would go for the Manix personally. From there you can see if it suits you or not as only you will be able to tell.

Greetz is another way of saying hello, good day, greetings, you get the idea. It's pretty normal for people who's mother tongue is not English to put their greeting at the end of what they are writing.

What were you after? Combo or se?

I think in the $100 bracket manix 2 or xl is probably your best bet. Paramilitary 2 would be right there as well but it's approx $10 more

As far as sites, there are many. Cutlery shoppe, howesknifeshop, knifeworks, grandprarieknives, bladehq, knifecenter, among many others. I believe they should all have stock on the manix's and pm2's
