Hey Paul. I hope you have a smooth transition. Congrats on the new house. Sounds like you'll have the space for a Spydie showcase room. Have some sweet tea and boiled peanuts(I recommend the Cajun variety) for me when you get there.

Best of luck to you, Paul. I'm happy to hear that you've found a place to relocate and are excited about it. My parents are also looking to relocate to TX in four years. My mom has been born and raised in the Empire State and my father has lived her for about 40 years. It's kind of scary but exciting.

I hope your move goes well and you enjoy the warmer weather down in SC. Best of luck. :D

No worry Arend, you're plenty early. :) Move is still about three weeks off (if I survive the packing). Thanks for the good wishes.

Now that's a move. If I would move as far away as possible within the Netherlands it would be a three hour drive max...
Enjoy your new home!

Happy Birthday D1omedes

Don't think that was the reason....If it were he would just move to Golden Co. and Live in a Storage room at the Spyderco Headquarters...Speaking as someone who has also lived all of his life in the great state of New York as Deacon....I can probably answer this question for him by saying....Enough is Enough!......Doc :D

True Doc :D As long as NGK didn't join the ranks of those unwilling to ship to me, I'd have been OK here where knives were concerned. The primary reason I wanted out was winter. The idea of less cold, less snow, and, most importantly, less ice became more appealing every year. It's also why Golden was never on my list of places to consider. ;)

Escape has been successfully completed. :D Survived the packing, the trip down, and the closing. Been in my new house in SC since noon last Friday and, as of yesterday, the Tacoma has an SC plate on it and I have an SC drivers license. My stuff should be here in a couple more hours and then I'll have six weeks of unpacking to look forward to.

Good to hear that you are doing well on your Exodus. I hope to do the same, relatively soon.

Make sure you lift smart when unpacking. :D

He had to go someplace.....Cuba wouldn't take him, said he dressed better than Castro and New Jersey said no unless he did a few episodes of the "Jersey Shore", Doc :p
Glad you made it down there Paul and all is going well for you.....

Paul,

Best of luck for the relocation. Just make sure your Spydie boxes are handled by yourself only and not with the removalists :D Although you should've moved to Australia :p

Glad to hear the move has been completed. Congrats! I can't wait to get out of this liberal sinkhole.

My daughter just moved to Georgia two weeks ago which gives me a stronger case when trying to convince my wife we can leave the two kids (both adults) here in NY and move somewhere in between :) .

Enjoy the golden years in America!

Have a much older cousin that lived in SC when I was a young boy. Use to visit her and her family during spring break. Some of my favourite family trips and fondest memories are of SC. Hope you enjoy the new house and state.

Wow...
