I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I first heard AMC was doing this series, but I've been pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the show, I'm actually thinking about picking up the Walking Dead Omnibus, just so I don't have to deal with a bunch of different volumes. It's a nice change to see people that are actually making somewhat intelligent decisions, and trying to work together. Of course you have a couple that just refuse to cooperate, but that's bound to happen.

vic,

What makes the show unwatchable for you?

:spyder: We all need to be informed and prepaired for what to do when (not if!) the dead walk. I've been training in Aikido for over ten years now because it's the best anti-zombie martial art out there. I train Mr. Janich's M.B.C. for people defense but for zombies it's Aiki all the way. Gotta keep moving, can't let yerself get grabbed, can't let yerself get taken down! :spyder:

No,... took me a second too--the caption is "The Sound of one hand racking" Listen as she pulls out her gun,... it's just a funny continuity glitch.

As often as I hear people dry-firing a Glock multiple times without racking the slide and other similar sound goofs in movies and tv shows, this bit of stupidity hardly rates a mention. I'm a little surprised they didn't use the sound of a 12ga pump instead.

i get what you meant about the one hand thing.

my question is why was she hovering over a soon to be zombiefied woman coming back and biting her neck?

Theoretically--I woulda used the pick,... Plus, as long as we're wondering about these things, why didn't she use the pistol when the zombies were eating her sister?

It's funny, but after watching that clip, I remembered the scene before the shootout in the first episode, where the deputy could be seen taking the safety off of his Glock. Oops :p

i bet production of the second season will start or maybe even has started -quietly- already since the "satgger on roll" contest is over soon. filming 6 episodes only pisses off a lot of viewers. "i dont want to wait 14 months for more WD"
the popularity of the this show should mean 10-13 new episodes in early 2011. maybe april. they know its a hit so they will now spare no exspense in pumping out new fresh episodes.
