That FRN manix is awesome i definitely think they should make the clear FRN a production model even if it's limited and not sprint limited just not slightly limited

Forgot to say thanks Wouter.

This FRN Manix revelation has me wondering if a new option just opened up for a forum knife...
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Thank you very much for your time and effort Wouter, this place wouldn't be the same with out you. I am really excited to see these new models. I am a little dismayed by the FRN Manix2 being constructed with rivets, but if it keeps the price way down I guess that's just how they are going to do it.

Wow, Spyderco is really coming out swinging these days!

I knew the FRN manix was going to be a smashing success, but I'm totally blown away with the clear FRN. That needs to be featured in a popular science or popular mechanics add IMO, the super high gadget factor is going to be irresistible.

Thanks for the great pics as always Wouter!

Clear FRN is even cooler than i thought, but if i had to pick one to get now its gotta be that balance. Schempp designs rock and there is nothing that i dont like about this little :spyder: It's even tapped for 4 way carry! Come on!

Wouter, on behalf of Spyderco, Sal, Gail and Eric, I thank you very much for your great artistic phoitographing and your highly appreciated assistance yesterday.
I believe we had a fantastic crowd who, very obviously, enjoyed this Sal & Eric Glesser RoadShow. To all visitors, we thank you very much for attending. For us it has been a very rewarding event and we hope to see you all again next time!
Wouter, back to your photographs. One word.... Amazing! What a great set of pictures you put up on the Fora! Keep 'em coming and we surely appreciate your fine work!
Thanks again and see you in Nürnberg..... don't forget to bring you camera :D
Jurphaas :)

A'dam mini meet pictures

Mr Blonde wrote:This year was the biggest meet to date, both in the number of models that went through my hands and in the number of attendees. I believe around 75 people attended this year’s meet. It’s always great to see how easy all these ‘strangers’ connect to each other through their common interest in Spyderco knives.

This time, I started shooting photos during the passaround and introductions given by Sal and Eric. So I didn’t catch many of the details and information about the prototypes. I’m sure the other attendees can add info and opinions as this thread moves along. I also added a small acrylic bug in some pictures to give you a better idea of the relative size of the prototypes.

Enjoy,

Wouter
Hi Wouter,

As always: great pictures. Look forward to seeing the rest, although I was one of the lucky ones yesterday to actually see and touch each of the knives.
Perhaps a good idea to mention the size (diameter?) of the small acryllic :spyder: ? This will give a good reference.

CU,
André

Hi Wouter, thanks for the great pics and infos. I have to get myself (at least) one of those FRN Manix knives! :)
The Balance is sweet also, congratulations Ed.

Nice work Wouter,
The Breeden Rescue looks **** useful, I'm sure one will find it's way into my pocket someday. It's nice to finally see the Balance too, I was having trouble visualizing it from Ed's original description, but now it all makes sense. It just makes me want a Khukuri even more though. Sadly the clear Manix does nothing for me though...

Did Ed's 3v "Tuff" make an appearance??

The Tuff was at the meet, and i realy liked it, that WILL be something Strider won't like. The Bison was amazing, just simply amazing.

But the one thing what I liked the most about the meet was all the inside infomation Sal and Eric gave us in a very understandable way! Thank you all!!!

Thanks, that's great to hear! I'm really looking forward to the Tuff. Are you able to share any more info about one?
