Yojimbo Ball Lock Prototype!

I would grab one immediately, especially since I do not have the original.
I think that in a combat situation (not my intended use, I want to stress), the regular ball lock would be safer, reducing the risk of accidentally disengaging the lock, because there is no single element of it protruding from the scales.
I have always been a great fan of the Comp Lock but now, given the choice, I would pick a BBL or CBBL anytime.

I think a caged ball lock would be excellent. The OP's drawings on page 1 look great (even like the colour). I'd love a run of Yojimbo's to be done as it is a knife I would really like to own and my chances of getting an NIB are pretty slim at the moment.

Wouldn't mind seeing a new pocketclip along with the new lock, either. The D4/E4 clip would work well for me.
