I LOOOVE THAT HANDLE! Great looking knife. I hate combo edges but I'd buy this knife in a heartbeat.

I hear ya. It was all I could do to make myself buy a knife that wasn't plain edged. Still, this knife is a lot better looking up close than it was in the pics posted sometime back.

I have never owned a wave. This thing is more fun than teasing the dog.

Not sure, maybe this is the issue... However you need a "hard" e-mail address to join. No Yahoo's, Hotmail's, Juno's Google's, etc.

That seems to be the biggest stumbling block to joining.
Just a hint: Most ISP's provide you with an email address when you start up with them.

That was the problem when I started there too. They wanted the worst, least reliable, most prone to have problems, email address I have. The ISP issued one, to sign up.

Finally, I broke down and supplied that one. No problem after that.

Let's see...It has a black coated blade..hate that, it has the wave feature..hate that, and it has a combo edge..dispise that. :) I thought of getting one for collector value as I could have snagged one, but I thought others will want one more then me so I let it go. Really the only thing I like on this knife is the handle, they should make more knives Toxic Green handles.

I agree about the black blade, hate combo edge, not into the "toxic green" thing at all, already have a PE E4, but decided to order one just because it will be collectible. So now I own one and I I can't keep it out of my pocket. Go figure. Leave it to Spyderco to make a knife that, theoretically, I should hate but I now can't live without. I'll have to order one from the second batch to keep pristine.

That would be terrific vito. The factory store doesn't do preorders...yet.

It is hard to be in the right place at the right time for these "shooting star" knives. Fun though, that Spyderco has such a following. The herd moves and makes you think that your own actions are correct.

Good luck to you in the golden cradle of democracy.

One up for auction on eBay. Course, you could wait until the next batch of 300 come in, as they will probably be a lot cheaper than what this sells for (especially if you're a USN member).

Here's a couple good pics I found on USN. Just picked up a pair of these guys, certainly going to be a sought after model in the future being the first Spyderco USN forum knife. I don't know if they have had other forum knives I'm kinda new to USN.

If you're looking for one at a fair price and don't want to wait for the next batch just look in The Cove (must have membership, but it's cheap) that's how I got mine.

Love the color on this one...the toxic green and black blade. Don't care for the wave tho.

German custom's officers will push the panic button for certain when they get a load of this threat.

I can faintly hear 99 luftbalons playing in the custom's office right now.

I went to the customs office on Tuesday, they wanted proof of age, since I ordered a Lava from SFO, the well-known fighting knife with the huge 1 7/8 in. (48mm) blade! no kidding, unfortunately true. my tax Euros at work.
