Kristi, is there any way the max quantity can be changed to 2 or so? Even a limit of 2 knives at the discount price, with no limit on the full price ones would be an improvement. After seeing how fast the 300 USN knives went, I think it would help keep speculators from snatching all the forum knives up, and really this knife is for the forum members, not the secondary market. If they don't all sell through with a limit, you could always open it up later for those who want more.

You will need to keep an eye on this forum, or the Spyderco Forum on BladeForums. Once the knife is ready Kristi will post the announcement with ordering information and rules. Most likely, we will order them from the Spyderco Factory Outlet via the Spyderco website. Based on some of the other special knives lately, there will probably be at least a few days between her posting the announcement and the "go live" date for placing orders. No telling how long they'll last, so, if you want one, it's probably best to check here at least every couple days.

That is one nice looking knife. Have to say good job to the Spydie crew on another terrific knife. I cannot wait until it comes out...but please don't come out in September. I'm going away for three weeks and will have limited internet access.

Still hoping Spyderco changes their minds and puts an initial two piece limit on these so that everyone can get one (or two). Gonna be a lot of disappointed forum users when I use the discount code and put in my order for 200 of these to resell down the road (kidding!) :D But the limit would help to minimize the potential "mark up and resell" problem.
