Thanks Sal, that will be appreciated. I hope it comes off because if the lack of availability of the Tenacious in the UK is anything to go by, it'll be quite a while before anyone has them in the UK unless they order them from the USA.sal wrote:We'll have to look into the $50 overseas shipping.

Yeah! Baliyo. I'm excited for this. Can't decide if it will make classwork easier or harder to concentrate on.
Is the reason they don't come in black because they look more like an actual balisong? I'm confused why spyderco wouldn't make a black one. That would BY FAR be the most popular color IMO.

The gray model will do the job of a black one without the "ninja" look.Capt. Carl wrote:

The BaliYo is not a trainer for buttefly knives (you would cut yourself if you practiced with a BalYo and then went to a live butterfly knife). It is a substitute for the butterfly knife that can be carried and used safely and legally.

Is there any update on the secure payment page? When I come to that stage of the checkout I get the following message in my browser...
http://www.baliyo.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for spyderco.com
(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
Previously the page would load but it wasn't secure.

My R-W-B one arrived about half an hour ago. Video is great, and I still have hope that I will prove well enough coordinated to learn a couple of those tricks. :D
