Tough to top the CF Caly3 or a Kopa, but I'll also say a D4 SS PE!

For Black-Tie, I would go with a Stretch.

After all those answers, I gues Clovis is confused all over the top. Let me raise the ante: CF Delica. ;)

Well, my job needs to wear business suit and tie - the Caly 3 G-10 is my EDC and from time to time I feel some itching and take one of the Walker Carbon matte :D

Of course serrated Peter ;) :D

But I figured by now I don't have to add SE anymore. It goes without saying :D

But to be honest Peter, I really forgot to mention it :o

My "church" knife is a Spyderco Pegasus, but it has been engraved. I use to have a pic, but it was on an old computer. I'll get some pics again.

The small Persian's got that great combination of class and style. But when I need something smaller I usually carry a blue almite navigator -- the handle material, the shade of color, and the silver clip all put together make for perfect "dressy carry".

Favorite dress knife is my black Micarta Calypso Senior PE.
Very light knife, innocuous black clip. Blade is big enough to handle my food cutting but does not attract attention.

Topping the list of Spyders I carry during presentations are the CF Caly 3 and the G-10 Caly 3, largely due to the way they disappear into the waistband and under a belt. If I'm feeling less constrained (such as presenting to military audiences) then I'm comfortable with more visible knives. The little Persian is a favorite even though it's hollow ground and thus harder to use. For me, the best size for a dress knife is around 4 inches closed. Smaller and it's too hard to cut an apple; larger and you feel you have to hide or make an explaination for it.
