I actually thought the word quite appropriate given the circumstances; a momentary slip of the mind, I assure you. As you obviously disprove I shall work tirelessly and diligently to prevent such a misdeed from occurring again. :o

And for the record, no, booyah is not in my vocabulary. :D

Ok, so now the question is how many of us are hanging out just to see Chad's reaction? It's like we're all ducking behind a giant couch just waiting for him to come home so we can jump out and say "SURPRISE!" when he turns on the lights!

Duck! :D

Truer words were possibly never spoken. I have to say that I was not nearly as anxious as most of the folks here about this announcement (meaning I've actually been able to sleep for the last 2 weeks), but I am awaiting Chad's response with bated breath and I don't know how much longer I can wait.

Oh, and Congratulations Chad, there isn't a soul on this forum who deserves this honor more than you. Thank you for your great designs and your inspiration to us all. And thank you Sal and Co. for making Chad's dreams come true.

I'll definitely buy one. I don't have a small EDC yet and this looks great! It'll be my first forum knife from anywhere.

Same here! Still waiting on an email from Kristi, but she's probably quite understandably busy at the moment :p

TazKristi,

Thanks for all the suspense and drama, it has really been a load of fun keeping us all on our toes.

Congratulations to Chad for his surperb refreshing design and to Spyderco for their wisdom.

And a big THANKS to Hannibal Lecter for his TEASER. Good job.

I will take at least two, one for me and one for my son.

Do I get anything for guessing right first? Like a 2nd one tossed in the same box for free?

Of course I'll be getting one(if not 2, all depends if I have work lined up by the end of the month).

Hi Kristi, thanks for the fun.
Congratulations to Chad for a well deserved recognition and for another great design. I have a Biscuit, now I need a Lava :)
