Next time Wouter, when you go back to Golden and need a groom, please think of me. Alex. (since the bodyguard job is taken...)spydutch wrote:Next time Wouter, when you go back to Golden and need a bodyguard, please think of me.Arend.
The mind commands the body and it obeys. The mind orders itself and meets resistance.

Thanks very much for sharing your trip pictures. It's much appreciated. :)

Hey SkyWouter!
Sorry so late...been in **** a lot lately.
GREAT pictures my friend! I would not mind "working within those walls"! :D Nice R2 and Poli...but remember, "Attachment is forbidden and leads to the Dark Side"... :p Besides, I think Poliwogs would survive better in Hawaii's climate! :o
Take care and congratulations on your :spyder: Tour, and especially making it "official" with Mrs. Blonde!
God bless

Thank you for those great pictures. Golden will be on my list when I visit the USA, as my daughter is moving to Portland , Oregon soon. Also, congratulations on your wedding. A pic of that wedding cake knife would be nice !
My other visit would be to Bluefield VA, to see NGK. Anyone been there and have some pics ?
Cheers
Mike

Wouter, Wouter, Wouter, tisk, tisk.
No that is NOT my car (bubblegum tank). We see that pink monstrosity regularly around here. There is a matching baby blue one as well. They belong to a husband and wife who live nearby who have a healthy sense (or warped) of humor. Looks like way too much disposable income. LOL.
On a serious note, we absolutely enjoyed meeting Mr. and Mrs. Blonde. Great people, serious knife fiends and our best wishes to you both on the start of your life as a married couple. Congrat, you both are wonderful.

Nah, that's not Tafolino's in the picture so it couldn't be anybody from Spyderco's car. :) (Great Mexican place down the street from the former SFO.)
Pink Delica....pink Hummer....nah, two way different deals.
Jokes aside, a great thread that gives people who may not ever get out here a good feel for the place.

Yes it's true, that pink hummer is not Joyce's car! I just couldn't resist when I found the pic. :D
I still could have spent way more time with Joyce and the rest of the crew. Being a knife collector in Europe you only get to READ about your hobby, and now I could TALK directly to the people who make the knives, and who know many more makers and custom guys. So that in itself was pretty awesome. Moreover we really enjoyed our time with everybody in person, apart from the knives.
