Wouldn't turn up my nose at a micarta or carbon fiber Millie either. Thanks, Ed.
Welcome to the forum. :D I like your carbon fiber idea. I think that would sell better than changing the G10 color. That needs to be on the handle poll.

There is nothing I would like to see more than a CF Military or Native but IMO they would need to be done as a sprint run like the CF Harpy.

If you want a Military forum knife, just buy one. It was forumknife 2000, MOP spyder inlay in the handle. Native has been a forumknife before too.

am I missing somthing.

Its so simple to make a Green G-10 para or Mini-manix.

Id say it would take some time to make the G-10 handles for the delica.

Also wouldent the delicas have to be made in seki city.
Any idea what a democratic poll is for ?

Many of us simply prefer vg-10.

all this poll is saying to me is.

People want a 3" blade, which has be said many times.

It also tells me that 20% dont want a knife that is on the list.

These are supposed to be the most popular models, I mean what about the Manix, alot of people love that knife, or the Calypso jr.

I wouldcome to the assumption that their is a very large group of people here that need a 3" or smaller blade due to legal reasons.

Which is forcing them to vote for the delica. they wont vote for None of the Above because that still leavs a chance for a bigger knife they will not be able to get.

I don't think this poll says what blade size people want. Only a few models are represented on this poll. Almost half of those responding want a Delica. A third think there is a model that would be a better choice.

I think most who are interested would buy regardless of bladelength. Only a few of these knives will see much pocket time. I doubt bladelength legal issues are putting much pressure on this sort of poll. Using yours makes mine more valuable. I have no problem with that.

I think most people who want something other than a Delica would buy one. The higher the price climbs, the more folks drop off, especially when we're talking MSRP. I think most who want a Delica would also be happy with a mini-manix or Dialex.

Just search for forum knife, That is the main concern of the polls,

Blade length.

I know the numbers.

I just think that poll was flawed like most of these polls are. The poll does not reflect reality. It is skewed by the creator. Some Spydercos are between 3 and 4 inches. The Mini-manix will be. Most Spydercos are under 3". Bigger blades cost more. Despite so many combinations in that poll, there are a lot more. Blade length was only one of 3 variables. I think simpler polls sequentially narrowing choices would be a more effective strategy. I would be fine with a Jester or a Mili.

We jsyt need sal to come up with a idea of what he can and cannot do.

Then we can decide on the options he give us,

As of right now the polls are saying
G10,Green Delica.
and if this can't be done a good substitute may be a Ocalot in a small run with green G10,that way the only change that would need to be made is G10 color and engraveing.

yes it is saying that but.

the para is not listed and as i have tried to say, poeple want a 3" blade and would rather vote on any 3" blade rather than vote for "Other", because other would not secure the 3" blade.

The only reason i say this is the Para has seemed to be the Choses knife on Yojimbo and I, polls.

Though id be ok with a delica. if possible not to be hollow grind.

No the Para is not listed,I did not want to list it and the Military so I listed the more popular of the two.
These polls may not work as everyone wants to be to pasific as the knife they want. The polls are only a starting point to narrow down the knife as to get size, color and scale material. The final decission will be Sals because he knows what he can do and what he can't.

I like that too and it may be an option.
I just explained in the green Ocalot thread that Sal makeing a G10 Delica for a forum model might be over the top,so then another knife already in G10 and about the same size as a Delica would have to be it.
Just because the polls say G10 Delica doesn't mean it is possible.
I have noticed that out of the 3 polls G10 looks like a must, the others are fairly close but the scale material is way out there.

I like the CE, if you are not aware the Para only comes in a SE and PE.

so a CE will be special.

The green can become darker.
