Lots of talk about the Manix here lately made me carry mine today.

Though in my use it can't fully compete with the Stretch XL SE or an Endura for the role of perfect EDC folder (there are just times when I want that longer cutting edges) it is still always such a joy to come back to this model! And to REX45 anyway...

Iya bout the Manix…don’t have experience w/the Stretch or Endura but I get the blade length thing w/the Caribbean and Pacific…and I love your photos-it’s like I’m in w/o the 10+ hr flight!!!

Little honey do list today…the Rebar and Fastback are gonna be put to the test…on a side note the clip off the Fastback is interchangeable w/the Manix lw so for $10 you get imo the most ergonomic fidgety (button lock) utility knife available and a deep carry clip

the fastback is a very nice tool. i have the slightly bigger version that holds extra blades. i want to get a slimmer one though. it's a great tool to keep in a backpack or vehicle too.

Purple Endura stays in my pocket every day.

Don't know anything about the Fastback, but the pretty oldschool Rebar is probably still my favorite medium and robust Multitool.
I just wish it had a better (=diamond) file and scissors instead of the PE blade. (I have small dedicated folding scissors attached with a rubberband to the Rebar when I carry it with me in a pack).

It took me a long time to find the Spydie here, mostly because that OPEN frame is a straight stunner. Great shot.

if you haven't tried them yet, grab some serrated blades. it's a total game changer. your blade will cut more aggressively and for longer. also, those cordage notches never worked for me until i switched to serrated and now they work much better.

This is one of those knives that every time I carry it, I wonder why I have other knives?!
