cutting up a food service box of scouring pads

for some reason they're 9" long, which is wasteful. So I cut them down into thirds.

They dull a knife fast, and they're one of the only things I've ever cut that manages to scratch DLC. That was why I sharpened up my millie 2 last night.

I spent a chilled day "puttering" around in the garage. One task was to make more space in the storage case.

Less than half of the collection. 🙈

I discovered a knife which I forgot I owned, a brand new Military 1 DLC... 🙊

Be curious to see how you like it. It would be an interesting hiking blade.

I know this will sound strange, but like I do every night I used one of my Manbugs to make several small cuts to a diaper.

During the winter, my not so small (and special) kid sleeps with two of them to prevent leaks and I make some cuts to the inside one.

For some reason I can’t explain, the Manbug with leaf blade is better at this than my other Manbugs, the K390 and the Salt. Well, the last one I know why...

And for those of you that think diapers should be soft as butter, well… these are actually coated with a tough synthetic fabric.

Maybe someday Spyderco will release the ultimate "diaper piercer" with a specialized blade! :grin-sweat
Just a joke, but this is actually what the kid calls it.

It doesn't sound strange, it sounds like excellent parenting. 👍

Using the 3M trifecta! Maul, Machete and Mule for various tasks of log and kindling splitting. I'm in my glory tonight using this many edged blades! :smlling-eyes

treating me well so far. just got a mora 2000 in the mail to compare it to, so I'll be updating my review again soon. viewtopic.php?p=1815480#p1815480

Cutting ability is superior to a lot of my other fixed blades in this size range, like the cold steel srkc, aqua salts etc. comfy handle too as expected.

breaking the stapled box down I thought about all the times I read about people hitting staples with their knives, and I wondered what's do difficult about checking for them first?

Definitely guilty of this when working the warehouse a few times. Every time it happened to me, there was those heavy duty copper staples...under dark colored packaging tape, so you couldn't even notice them until it was too late. Helped me along the way with getting sharpening experience though!

I never think to get any good pics when using my knives. But I sliced up a kiwi fruit and some strawberries for my grand daughter with my 15v Shaman. Oh yeah, also cut the crust off of her toast. It seemed like a lot of knife for the task, lol! Had to use it though. The knives in their kitchen are DULL! Like, run you finger down the edge dull.

15V Millies first job was to open some mail. My first Supertool.

Image

Was planning to carry them both for the first time today, but the supertool needs sent back unfortunately. Rattles bad and half the tools fall open. Pretty disappointing for a brand new tool straight from Leatherman. My ten year old Rebar is in better shape.
