Man…. I meant to ask Eric about the expansion at the Oregon Knife Show, and I completely forgot.
If I can step away from my table long enough at Blade Show in a couple of weeks, I’ll try to ask about that and the UKPK.
It would be nice to have any kind of time frame at all here. Coming up to 4 years since I started this.
I have pm'd you btw

Or any news on the expansion?
Still living on hope

Damasteel is 25% more expensive than it was just a bit ago. That’s kind of news.

He will probably roll it back in a week.
Or up it to 125%.
Presumably it depends on how it goes on the golf course that day and which prescription medication he is currently demolishing.

Noting yet, but thanx for the plug. I'll bring it up again with the factory.

This would be an instant buy for me, depending on how much it will cost with the tariffs.

Thank you. It will have been 5 years since this thread started in June 2020.
I believe Sal when he tells me it is still coming. I just hope it isn't much longer.

5 year anniversary of this campaign.
Since the start of this thread I have...
1. Diivorced my (now ex) wife.
2. Quit my job for a better one.
3. Moved to the coast.
4. Met an amazing girl.
5. Wifed her (didn't learn my lesson)
6. Bought our dream home together.
7. Harrassed Sal on his own forum.
I know I am still in Sal's head.
What have you all done in the last 5 years?

Hi Superfool,
Glad to see you are still persistent, and yes, you are still in my head. We still have it on the list. I just got a new sample of Damascus from Coy Baker, which might be nice add.
Getting to all of the models being asked for getting built, as well as a multitude of collaboration designs waiting, is Eric's biggest headache right now. High stress for sure. Demand on current models keeps increasing and most of our factories are running at capacity. We're slowing increasing production in our Golden factory, which is where the Damask UK will be built. Very challenging.

Hmm maybe we should get a Damask Mule just to make sure the steel is up to task. Lol

Hi Vandyman,
Funny you would say that. I told the staff, that when the pieces comes in, we should make a Mule Team as the test piece.

Sounds like good problems to have though. It's always a great feeling when business is good and your crew is firing on all cylinders.

That's what I was thinking as well! Too much demand is a good problem to have.

Actually, It's not a good problem to have. If you can't deliver, the customer is likely to purchase something else.
If you can't deliver, the Chinese counterfeits run rampant.
The proper balance is best.
