I do not see any 1/2 serrated delica's prior to the AUS-8 steel models. Would it be safe to say that the 1/2 serrated models did not come out until the introduction of the AUS-8 steel models? This seems to be the same with the endura's also. Will, do you have a pink and green thin clip D-1 with no blade steel marked on the blade? Take care.

yo Tony,
there are more out there somewhere I KNOW IT LOL
still looking for the blak ti Delica & i saw a FBI D2 once but its was so bad used that you could barely see the engraving.
i still look everyday for something new, cant wait to see some of the new D4 FFGs to post pics of them.
BHD, the collection isnt edge at all, just different steel types, steel stamps, handles, clips, generations, colors & customs etc etc
yes the pink and green thin clip with no steel stamp is in there somewhere, i dont think they ever made them with the fat clip, either that or i havent found them yet.

Not asking about the edges of your knives. I am trying to find out if there were any 1/2 serrated delicas or enduras with no blade steel markins or G-2 steel. It seems that the 1/2 serrated blades began with the introduction of the AUS-8 steel. Take care.

Cool. I noticed it with my endura's, but wondered if it was the same with delica's. I often use you'r group shot's as a reference and noticed no early steel 1/2 serrated D's in you'r collection. I think it would be safe to say that the 1/2 serrated model's were introduced when the AUS-8 steel came out. Maybe Sal will chime in and confirm it. Take care.

I also noticed that when the boye dent came out 1 serration was removed from the blade on the fully serrated model's.

man you pay attention to some close detail, i looked at the first boye dent Delica i have and compared it to the non boye dent and this seems to be not the factor with Delicas, but it does seem to be they moved the inner teeth back closer to the tang, is this a factor with Enduras with missing teeth?
on the D1s though the full serrations go to the tip or closer than these, same with the Economys and Standards, maybe they learned the lesson on those first.
btw is it boye or boyd ? ive been calling it boye for years now lol
D2 SE AUS-6

Yes my ATS-55 no boye dent has 7 sets of the smaller double serrations and my ATS-55 boye dent has 6 sets of the smaller double serrations. Both have 7 large single serrations. When the boye dent came out the endura had one less set of smaller double serrations. Take care.

I just checked my delicas. I have an ATS-55 pink D-3 no boye dent and an ATS-55 blue D-3 with a boye dent. The blue D-3 has 1 less set of small double serrations. Take care.

cant be any worse than mine :D
btw way i looked at my Pink D3 with a chipped tip and you are right, but i can only base it off of a VG-10 D3 SE, the PINK is ATS-55 without the boye
i also still cant find a D3 VG-10 without a boye, maybe doesnt exist but i still look for it

I was a LeBarons yesterday and they have what I believe to be a D4 with an FFG blade, VG-10, FRN.
My little guy was having control issues so I didn't get to handle it.
Was this a D4 at all? I didn't know they came FFG PE.

Delica4 fully flat ground Green PE...
i must add that i really like these colors, especially the blue and green. the grey is pretty much foliage green to me.
I held them up next to each other and its super close.
i thought by not adjusting the color of the pic it would portray the true color, but after putting the knife against the picture
these pics are very dull, the colors are much more true in hand.
