The des Horn would be a great splinter-picker-niche-filler for me, but it's a bit lower on my list now because it's an obligate right (wrong) hander. On the other hand (pun intended) splinters don't usually require rapid deployment -- they're not going anywhere :) , so it's still appealing.

That was a very generous offer, Kyle. I reluctantly passed on what would have been a $69 Des Horn, a pretty darn good deal, because I'm trying to justify a more expensive upcoming knife purchase I have in mind now.

Glad someone could use it. I recently got a Des Horn and a second Dialex Junior, so I was trying to keep myself from buying more of them. By giving away the eCard, I figured I wouldn't be tempted to buy yet another Junior. :D

Ha, I see those two in your new arrivals. I'm realizing now I was off about the Mountain time difference from Central so I jumped in two hours early. Since I thought it was expiring I just grabbed some stuff quickly and figured it was alright if it wasn't a knife. I couldn't justify another Junior but now the Des Horn does look nice...

The Puko doesn't show up in my search now... they may have sold it out. I don't actually want the puko now myself, but, is there a 50% off coupon code? And, if so, does it work on the Des Horn?

It should. On your search be sure to include fixed blades.

Note that the spelling is "Puukko", but yeah looks like they must be out of them now. They showed up for me just the other day, but I already have one in desert ironwood and one in G10, didn't feel the need for another one. Who knows they may get more stock in, don't they buy from other stores who are clearing out stock?

I just hit all sports and filter knife styles, and all knives come up.
You can further filter brands. There's usually 3 Spydies.

When I do any search at STP, for example, Sports->All Brands->Spyderco, fixed and folders,the only things that come up are the Junior and Des Horn, regardless of how I approach it.

And the only coupon I can find is 30%, even though I've re-signed up for their email deal flyer list twice this month :confused: I guess they just don't love me anymore :)

Actually the only knife I would buy from them now would be the Des Horn maybe, if I had a 40% code.

I have seen the Junior and Des Horn for 40% occasionally. 30% and 35% are much more commonly seen. This is the first time in a while the UKPK has come up. They must have found some old stock.
