Tenacious LW is my go to barn knife. Nothing sexy, but it gets the job done.
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Been carrying this IWB the past few days despite the 80-95F temps and an active week. Curious if it'll rust with the heavy forced patina it's got. So far so good.

Rock Jumper is my work companion today.
I took it apart the other day. Cleaned it up and loctited. Put a little more force on the screws than I usually do to see if I could eliminate the lock rock. This is the smoothest back lock I own, but also had the worst lock rock. It seems to have eliminated most of it. It is only minor now. Never kept me from using it. This one has been used on all kinds of stuff. It has the scars to prove it. It has been great for projects. It makes an excellent EDC even though I prefer a slight belly towards the end. Here's to the one day, maybe, perhaps, possibly Leaf Jumper.

The knife I was skeptical on buying, that turned into my 3rd favorite Spyderco model. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone folks!

That one is next on my list. Kicking myself for not getting the St. Nick's exclusive. Kicking myself.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Yes Jeff, I feel you on missing out on the St Nick's model!! That just had to drop at the same time I got that Large Sebenza with inlays and the Military a week or so prior. I couldn't possibly stomach spending that much that quickly on knives...still regret not grabbing it though!
Dan, I really like his clips. A few years ago I would buy one for just about every knife I had (a few MXG clips too, also high quality)...until I realized I could have 2 or 3 more knives for just the price of all those clips alone haha! That specific clip I've had for a few years now, installed on the 3rd different knife. Still has great retention and the finish is still in pretty good condition as well.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks Rick , I have a couple on knives already , I like the long clip style on the Endura type scales . Like you I don’t require every knife having a Lynch , stock clips I usually mod myself . May give my Chief a little bling ! DanTkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 6:07 amYes Jeff, I feel you on missing out on the St Nick's model!!
