Shout out to manixguy@1994, Dan πŸ˜ƒ, for the how to on the heat ano! Pictures don't do the colors justice, it looks so good πŸ‘Œ i really like it but it could be more even so might redo it. Clearly one of the screws is paler then the other two 🫣 I see more clips getting this threatment in my future πŸ₯³

And please feel free to criticize, happy to learn from others.

Looks great Paul ! I left my screws unheated so they match all the other screws , but that is a matter of personal choice . For your first attempt it looks outstanding. MG2

Swayback just got a lot better with the normal titanium clip.

The lanyard with a silver bead also gives it the best look in my opinion :smirk

Originally this is a DLT exclusive PM2 in M390 with red G10 scales. Swapped the scales for Flytanium Lotus Ti ones, customs Ti backspacer and heat ano'd deepcarry pocketclip.

Kinda hard to see in pictures, but I had John at BGM thin out a Siren for me. He did real nice work and fast to boot. Bye-bye makers marks β€” it’s a slicing machine now.

New micarta scales from RGT for the Kapara and LynchNW wireclip replacements.

Very comfortable and more grip in the hand.

Now to get my greasy hands on that micarta so it darkens!

Micarta scales from AWT.

Image

The lanyard tube press from Sharp Dressed Knives worked well to pop out the tubes.

Natural canvas for a CS wharnie

OD green linen for the Smurf blue BBS M390

Fresh scales feel good! This blue PM2 was at one point my most used knife. It is hard to believe the first run was from 2011! The convex still performs well. She's ready for the next 13 years.

Just Rit Dyed my Manix and heat anodized all the SS hardware to as close to bronze as I could. First time heat anodizing anything and just went for it. I think it came out ok.

Added extra stand off and screws from a titanium pm2 hardware kit onto my manix 2 to stop the liners and scales from clicking and clacking and peeling apart due to the lanyard tube not fitting snug anymore, worked perfect just have to fine tune and debur from the countersinking.

15V Mule that I converted into a lightweight compression lock flipper. It has a liner less G10 handle construction, titanium lock bar with ceramic detent ball, phosphor bronze washers, steel pivot bushing, Cocobolo backspacer with press fit threaded connectors, and a titanium deep carry clip. The knife weighs just a hair under 80 grams, which is almost exactly what it originally weighed as a blade blank with no scales.

Just got my AWT scales for my Native 5 Salt. Had them installed within 20 minutes of taking them out of my mailbox. Super easy. Absolutely love the way they look and feel. This has always been one of my favorites, but now it's at a whole new level.
