I think this is going to be my next Spydie, Micarta scales and all. Are those from Sharp Dressed Knives?
It’s one of my favorites for sure. They are from Sharp Dressed Knives (Green Canvas). They seemed to sell out fast whenever I looked so I had the scales just sitting around taunting me for way too long until the restock.

I remember seeing these available for a while a year or so ago as well. I was shocked they didn't sell out faster. They look great and are priced well. Had I not foolishly sold mine a couple years ago, it 100% would have had those scales on it.

Rex45 and Micarta are match made in heaven for me! Been putting this off for a while, as the Crucarta Shaman is iconic and also a sentimental knife to me. I just figured it was time to give my favorite steel, my favorite handles!

I believe they hit it out of the park with the naming of this knife. It looks like it could handle anything. Great pic!

Haven't posted here in a while... but lately I've been rotating through these two PM2s for "off the farm" carry, but around my acreage the little wharncliffe from Deep Cuts Cutlery (Nitro-V at 62-63Rc) gets a ton of carry. It is my most used fixed blade lately.

Image

For fun, here's a comparison of edges by looking at the tip. Left to right is DCC Smol (the wharnie), REX 45, and CPM CruWear. The REX 45 knife has been reprofiled, and I did a little work on the Smol, but it came with a great edge from the maker.

Rocking my CTS-BD1N Manix 2 that I just picked up this Christmas.Of course, it is converted to screw fastener.

For those wondering it's my sixth Manix 2 that I've converted.
