Been refreshing my phone constantly on their site and didn't see them come up... just a site change from "coming soon" to just "out of stock"

Same here. Been keeping a close eye on DLT. Never saw them as in stock. Just coming soon and then oos.

Dude on phone just told me that they had 28 orders, and it sold out in about 3 minutes.

Got the same info, also said notifications went out. I've yet to receive a notification from a drop...anyone have a suggest as how to fix that please message me.

I got the DLT message, and I think one from National a couple weeks back. None of the other usual sources have send me notifications. Maybe they only send out notifications a couple dozen at a time, to prevent their servers from getting jammed up.

As much as I despise BHQ's practice of charging customers $5 to preorder, I'm trying to keep an open mind. If there's another "must have" sprint, I might be willing to throw a five-spot their way just to avoid all the drama. In years past, other retailers have allowed pre-orders without the non-refundable deposit. I haven't seen that at all recently.

The notifications are probably send out individually in the order they were submitted to the list. So as soon as they sell out, it stops the notification process, and anyone after that point on the list does not get notified. That would be my guess as to how most of those systems work.

So basically they give people who were on the list first the best opportunity to purchase, which sounds fair to me.
