But while we´re at it:
Anyone up to guessing my favorite handle material resp. locktype?! ;)

That's beautiful ! I discovered Spyderco with the compression lock but I am so infatuated with spyderco's Backlocks lately ! I've played with a lot of backlocks but the one made for the Native 5 is so satisfying.

True, not that the Seki backlocks would be bad by any means, but the Native 5 lock is amazing (so is the one of the Chap).

/ Yes, the backlock is still my favorite.

Though I also really like the CBBL, there are just no options beside the Manix out there.

Same is true for the linerlock, when it comes to mid to high end in house Spydies: Very few options unfortunately.
In use the linerlock is the most convenient for me, and I´d 100% own a linerlock Caribbean and most likely a linerlock Shaman and linerlock Watu.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

First snowy trailrun of the season. :smlling-eyes
Admittedly I had to run up to higher regions to get to the snow.
Old Native with me: Not the overall best Spydie (in my use), but probably the coolest I own.

Been this stout little fella all week

and while my knife use this week has been pretty light, the edge is from ???? many, many, many months ago, and it still smoothly, cleanly, easily shaves & easily make tiny little paper curls :)
