Yes! I mentioned in the Cruwear/micarta thread that I'd love to see that combo on this knife. Plenty of other more affordable combos would suit me, too.
Yeah! Bring more Phil Wilson's designs to the market!

Has he ever designed a folder? I've often thought that something along the lines of the Spring would make a great lockback.

HERESY! Get outta here!
Just kidding, I don't know for sure but I don't think he designed a folder.

I hope that we get some more of his designs in the future.

Or just sprints of the ones that Spyderco has already made. Or both. :)

Where's my Punta Chivato or Shelter Cove? Guess I can keep on dreamin. I think the fillet was the first knife by Phil that never made it to production. Used to be pictured on the Spyderco website, forget the model FB06/FB07 I think :spyder: I have a bunch'o fillet knives but would still buy this. If not in the higher end model, BD1N would work to keep the cost down.

Shelter Cove looks very nice......if it came out in like fillet knife lenght (6 inch?) and in normal knife lenght (4 inch) that would be awesome.
Or his model Coyote Meadow

Make it in 4 inches, ditch the metal guard for lower cost, make it full tang and throw some decent steel on it - instant buy for me.

That number is a collector's club ID number and has nothing to do with how many were made. Spyderco did not tell us how many of the Bow River were made.
Thanks for your information.
