The most accurate color depiction of the handle is obviously the DLC version on the right. It's actually closer than I would have thought.

Got the satin today. This is my first para 3--great little knife, and not much bigger than a Delica. It may supplant it as my small edc. It will definitely see time in the woods. Now the hunt for the orange PM2 to go with it!

I really hope they do another PM2 run so I can get the satin of that one since I got this DLC this time. Does anyone know how thick the DLC coating is? It's microns isn't it?

OooOOOooo...really?? When I was drinking, a few months ago I almost pulled the trigger on one of those, DLC coated for $280. Glad I came to my senses!

Probably too soon for any kind of release date info on that?

He was just saying that he was considering it. I’d imagine it’s a long way out if it ever happens. He didn’t say he was going to do it, just considering it.
