A buck seventy five is a bit high for me this close to Christmas. Considering the S110v is $159 and this one is DLC it is not overpriced just more than I can throw down with twin 7 year old hoping Santa makes it rain

It's a very "likeable" steel. It does everything well, is forgiving, and easy to work with. I like it a hair better than S30V. It doesn't have the foibles that S90V or CPM-M4 have. It's a terrific all-around steel.

Fair enough, was responding to being stuck in a meeting.

If it'd been priced like the last CS orange Para2, imagine what would be going on over at eBay.

These are selling very well. I ordered one yesterday evening and later decided to order another. A couple of hours later my order # showed approx. 70 orders made in that time. Presuming many of the orders placed were for the Para 2, if some ordered more that one over a hundred could have easily been sold. These won't last long.

I relented and got one from CS. Smooth sale. "Needed" a new Halloween knife!

Yeah, it's $200 BIN while they're available for $175 from the retailer. What a joke...sadly though, some poor fool will probably buy it.

That seller could just wait like 5 days and sell it for $300 honestly. You know it's true, lol.

Indeed. I don't understand how some people fail to get a decent deal, especially when the knife is available for a few days. I mean, if someone is willing to pay that much for a collector's item/sprint, you would assume that that person has to be at least somewhat educated in Spydercos. I guess I never will understand how the sprints/exclusives can sell (or even be listed) for well over the original price on Ebay while the dealer still has them in stock...

It appears to me someone must have already bought it, or it was taken down again, because I'm not seeing it.

These were interesting but had to consider the upcoming M4 model in natural jade G10 (something I very much like) and the new S110V. Both at lower price points and with better steels. And that might have made me question CS's pricing except for the fact that they will sell every single one rather quickly. Shows what I know about retail..

I agree with you here. The S110 is a production model, so the pricing and sales of that will be a different metric after the initial rush dies down. CS's pricing is definitely on the high end for this model, especially considering what BHQ is going to sell the M4 model for, but I think it's fair to say that a PM2 sprint in a premium steel will never be a hard sell. Plus you have to factor in the immediate gratification dynamic of retail, that being that THIS PM2 is avaliable now, while the M4 is not. :D
