I've never even attempted anything like this before so for all its faults I'm pretty pleased w/ how it turned out. All ideas/instruction courtesy of the tutorial thread on these forums...
MT-05 w/ Dymondwood scales (all shaping and finishing done w/ coping saw, files, sandpaper, and steel wool) - apologies for the bad pics, my camera isn't the greatest and I'm not a photographer by any stretch.

Hector, that's a very nice job. I know the customer you did that for, and I think he will be pleased.
I have a pair of blades I'd like for you to make handles for. I already have the Micarta, and will get in touch with you.
Very nice work! :)

Hector, Thank you for your excellent work on Dave's Mule. It was a pleasure doing business with you. I'm sure I will have you do work in micarta (canvas) for me, after I acquire Mule6, and who knows...if Sal decides to sell off the Bushcrafts as seconds...I might even end up with one of them. Your Bushcraft sure was nice! And thanks for showing off your Spydie Roll. You have a great collection!

Here is one I finished with dyed and stabilized Box Elder burl for a forum member who told me to share some images. Yellow and black liner material used. It really looks much better in person.

Thank you RIOT.
The owner had a good idea with the double liner. Folks seem to really like that mosaic pinstock in particular. Today I will be putting the finishing touches on a Mule with stabilized Buckeye with black liners.
I love seeing how well these can turn out. Also a few months later getting pics of the knife with elk or deer dressed in the background is pretty sweet.
My thanks to Spyderco for the Mule knives. Please keep them coming. :D

Here is one I finished over the weekend. Don't get the idea that I have only one pin. Though apparently I only have one good looking pin.

I usually just cord wrap mine, but I recently made a try at carbon fiber scales. The first didn't come out too well, but the second was a little better.
This one is for The Deacon (I know he loves tie-dye

I used a Strider "how to" on their site.
