I've done that but you have to do it by city, I can't do US as a whole.
Unless I am missing something?

Gotta be careful, but I do buy and sell using #knifesale on instagram. Bought more than I’ve sold that way but always had good experiences, YMMV.

Be careful. There are a lot of fakes out there. Once I bought a fake from ebay seller with 100% positive feedback. Fortunately I was able to spot a fake and he returned money without arguing after I sent him a link to Spyderco website, so he would see a difference between his knife and Spyderco.
Buying Spyderco not from authorized dealers, be sure that you know well, what are you buying. I would stick with Bladeforums. Forum members rate sellers and post feedback.
