I own a kydex business, and have been collaborating with Ed from Ed's Manifesto to offer sheaths for these Victorinox paring and fruit knives. Some people like them for the self defense aspect, but I'm super impressed with them from a utility standpoint. I'm actually working on an article about them.

Nice. I have to say, in my profession, that I've used those a lot, and at home too, and there's not much tang in them. I wouldn't trust them for much but cooking. Had one break just from age and a bit of rust or something. Don't want to be a bummer, because the idea's great, and they look well made, but maybe with a full tang?

If there's a solid reason for Victorinox to be well known for is how Weak & Soft and No-Edge-Retention-At-All is the misterious steel they use... :rolleyes:
