Street Bowie. Put a fresh edge on it and I've been using it all day.

Image

I went with 300 grit diamond plates for the final stone with a light stropping. Previously I was sharpening it on the brown sharpmaker rods.

Whenever I manage to dull it I'm going to try the diamond sharpmaker rods. It's been a while since I've tried using them for an edge, I mostly use them for reprofiling and repairing SE.

I love seeing used Perrins.

They're a great series of knives. One day I hope to add one of the green handled Perrins to my collection.

Of all the current spydie fixed blades, the Perrins appeal to me the most. I'd love an updated micarta version.

Agreed. I've been thinking about a custom.

The handle is what really does it for me. It's perfect. Combined with the clip point bowie, it's a fantastic package.

LC200N would make it perfect. >:)

Sweet little Spydies. Just got mine yesterday and can’t put it down. Such a cool little knife. I always carry two folders so its the perfect compliment to larger SE blades and to use in public if your larger edc freaks people out :D

Smock and Spydiechef. Bought both intending on selling one when I figured out which I liked best. Haven't figured it out yet :)

I like your photos in mountain scenery :)

Thanks! :)
Here is one from today, by way of exception without a knife... (in Austria there are crosses set up on many mountain tops, guess that's the same in Poland where you live?)

Yes. We have them on many mountains.

The weather has cooled off, should drop down to the 50's tonight. So I took two freshly sharpened blades out to an old camp site of mine to spruce it up a bit.

Might pitch a tent out here in a few hours

There's a lull in the mushroom hunting for the next few weeks...time to take care of a few of those little projects around the cabin that haven't gotten done. Tools of the day:
