I agree, the price was too good to resist. Thank you for the heads up. I needed this one and the Stretch to check off my Hap40 want list.

I highly recommend these stones. They're very useful. I like the fine for culinary knives and the medium for other knives.

I didn't grab these this round because I already have each of the grits (Med, Fine, UF) in the 302 as well as spares N.I.B. I guess they will be for my son one day as I don't expect to wear them out. I maintain with my 701 profiles that are always in my go bag.

Standard Endela wharnie MAP pricing. VG-10 PE wharnies were not discontinued like VG-10 SE or K390.

Anyone have a guess on the next MAP holiday? I don't recall from last year when the one closest to spring/early summer fell.

I've been considering the NAND, but didn't want to pay the going rate. After reading your message, I checked out Dack's prices. They're far more aligned with what I'm willing to pay, so I ordered it up. Normally I'm impatient about wanting things NOW, but since the NAND wasn't on my "must have" list, I'll be able to wait. It's even possible that I'll forget about it, and when the knife shows up, it will be a surprise. It will be like Christmas in May.

Dack's shipping times have become longer, but the prices can't be beat.

I posted in the Bodacious thread but I just got mine after about a month and a half.

Also I found it interesting they actually taped the box shut with a clear round sticker so it's clear if the knife/box has been opened.

They must have only had a few of these. Really crazy how fast that was... That or the guys on ebay are buying them all at once. Then we will see them on the bay later. Got to love that.
