Down to 130 left. Pretty good as far as drops go. Lasted long enough to let everyone who wanted one to get one (or 3...or 6), but should be gone in a day or two which is great for the dealer who wouldn't want to sit on 10s of thousands in inventory any longer than that.

Where are you getting the in-stock count?

It was a surprise to me to see the box to check for $5 off for 125 points I didn't know I had, which brought it back down to $59.25, including shipping, and probably one reason it took me 35 min to complete the purchase :p

This is like putting a 500 Horse Cummins in a Mini Moke.
A lot like the K390 ladybug in that regard.

Probably helps when the site doesn't work for a lot of people lol

Hi Matt, I forgot about the LadyBug.

I’d love to play with 20CV and K390 both but I’d like to flog them against some of our hardwood or similar in a knife like the Province.

Rightly or wrongly, I feel we can’t use some steels to their true potential in a folder and certainly not in tiny folders, but that’s just me. ;)

Im surprised it's still around, seems like a lot of the hype is in this very forum haha! I'm sure it will sell out soon. I wonder how many he had to start with?

I actually feel like the super long edge holding steels are a great fit for a small folder. S110v (or better, Maxamet) seems ideal for something like the UKPK or dragonfly to me. I love the ZDP and K390 ladybugs, and would love one of those in Maxamet.

Are you going to get one? You could do a writeup like Jazz used to do for the manbug when he cut all those different things at his job. Or you could get one for your kid :)

I agree, Tom. Particularly on ZDP and Maxamet.

My ManBug is a pocket scalpel but I don’t think it or Maxamet or S110V would do overly well flogged against hardwood or bone.

I simply feel the tough tool steels, as good as they may be at edge holding have other qualities that are better suited to larger heavy use fixed blades, is all. :)

The high wear resistance steels go forever on slicing tasks, but potentially chip when you lean on the edge. So what could be a better platform than a knife that you can't really lean into? With 20CV in a Jester, I figure I'll be able to cut paper, cardboard and twine more or less forever.

Ordered without a hitch this morning, glad they hadn't sold out yet, since I only saw this thread two hours ago!

I know what you mean Alex. It is hard to get the full potential of the steel in such a small package. Although I must admit I love the overkill of super steels on small knives, I probably wouldn't buy a ladybug or
Jester otherwise.

20cv is only about as tough as S30v, but has better edge holding and is more stainless, which IMO is pretty ideal for a "put it on your keychain and forget about it" pocket knife. I kinda don't see the point of K390 in a knife where edge stability isn't that important *shrug*

Website is slow.

Received a thank you email with order number. Trust that means a successful order.

Should be a cool little key chain knife. Cleaned a ZDP189 Manbug this morning, little corrosion, nothing Gunbrite paste couldn't take care of.

I totally agree. I love 4v (even in folders), for example, but it really shines in fixed blades. I don't think it would have much to recommend it over Maxamet in something the size of the ladybug (or dragonfly).

I totally agree ...and I'm especially interested in the more than forever part  You must have to be a moonbat or whatever to know about that :D (just kidding-- no explanation expected :) )

Thanks for the information, 91 left at the moment. I'll go ahead and predict Tuesday as the sellout date, based off of very little...
