Thanks, Jeb. Yes, the 2022 CutleryShoppe exclusive is pretty good, though the upcoming Rex121 exclusive is also very tempting, though I might just might wait for the coated variants as they will feature Spyderco's new coating.
If I purchase another Cutlery Shoppe exclusive it would have to be a black blade , but still on the fence . I like the scales a lot just not sure if I have enough interest in the steel . The M2 exclusive model is slowly winning me over . Dan

Why you not so big on the Rex121 steel. Man I love that harder steel. Sure it's a challenge to hone and of coarse I have to polish the bevels. I know I al not using it as a pry bar. I am curious?

Nothing really wrong with Rex121 , amazing edge retention. I just prefer a tool steel that leans toward higher toughness and corrosion resistance. Dan

Oh, ok... thought I might have just missed something about it. I really like the edge retention of the harder metal, just wish they would coat the stuff with the new Spyderco coating.

I been nick naming it the Trench Coat lol, I will be glad when they do officially name it...

S30V blade swap Yojimbo 2 serving as a placeholder until the 15V variant drops.
