Yes, a tiny bit. It's domed and the outer edges are pretty much flush with the scales.

I just got mine. This thing feels like such a little workhorse and I'm gonna treat it as such. It's maybe be smaller but it is still a very capable knife. It fits my hand really well also.

When Spyderco decides to make smaller versions of their existing knives I think this is the size they should aim for. The lil' Lum for example is just too small.

Hey Cobra,

Lotsa folks out there with lotsa preferences. Most like 3", but many like larger or smaller. It is for that reason that we're always experimenting with blade size. A little bit makes a big difference. The Chappy is 2.75 blade with a finger choil. The new Alcyone is 2.9 with no finger choil. Different feel because the handles are different. Also different locks offer differences in function of the different blades. The Chappy is a lock-back, the Alcyone a Walker Linerlock. The Lil' Temperance is only 3" in blade length, but it's a much larger knife. It's a Compression Lock.

Mine arrived yesterday. Its got a nice stout feel to it. They definitely succeeded at shrinking the PM2, and it's a completely different knife than the Sage5 in hand. The large thumb ramp is excellent, and the extra handle butt gives it a nice feel in the palm. I do wish the clip/lanyard hole arrangement allowed for a deeper carry, but it is inspired by the PM2, not Manix2 config. I suppose that's what the Manix 3" will be for ;)

Thanks! I was wondering when they'd become available on DLT's site.

I received my second Para 3 today. I was unable to cancel the pre-order and now I'm happy about that. The action on the second one is dialed in even better than the first.

Has anyone pre-ordered a Para 3 from KnifeCenter.com and received it? I pre-ordered one for my dad from there in early December, but I have yet to receive it.

Thanks for the replies guys! I was worried that KC hadn't started shipping out knives yet because they are still listed as pre-orders, but you guys put my mind at ease.

Except that Ouroboros is $173.97 with VG-10/G-10 and Para3 is only $119.97 with S30V/G-10!
