I figured that the server load wouldn't be too bad on the morning of the third day after release, so I tried the inventory trick. At least out of the current batch that has been loaded, 576 are left. Also, it seems that they have removed the limit of two per person--the cart let me load all 576.

Is the wide jimping in the back spacer new to the forum knife? I don't remember seeing it before.

My S35VN Lightweights have that same jimping, Donut.
Got my Forum Native yesterday! Really nice!

I also wanted to mention a couple of things that make this knife special.
1. First knife with a CPM-S90V blade and a FRN handle. (Only other one with this level of super steel was the S110V Manix.)
2. First knife with a CPM-S90V blade that was selling for <$100.

I didn't know that. Sounds like a great deal for a sub $100.00 priced knife. Very happy with mine. Superb quality, and workmanship for the price.

Got mine today. Very light, much lighter than expected and even lighter than my beloved Delicas. However this places the balance quite forward when open. Interested to put some use on her and see how it goes.

I dunno, the balance seems to be quite neutral to me, on the index finger:
Unless the SE version has less blade weight than the PE, or the Delica with its steel liners is more handle heavy !

Got my pair today, Both dead centered tip. Wasn't impressed when I opened mine, but it gets smoother each time I open it. I think it might replace the delica 4 in zdp189 as a carry knife. Solely on account of I get tired of wiping it down with ballistol each time I carry and play with it. Typical spyderco edge of course. Blows benchmade away. The lock bar needs to be depressed down further than a delica It seems, but I think that's the price you pay for a heftier lock.

I think it's the second one. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, just different than I've been used to using my FRN delica(s) constantly for the past few months.

Mine were also quite tight in the pivot, but it's loosening up as you mentioned. I back out the screws, put some loctite on them, and screwed them in to just seated and that helped as well.

Mine showed up today as well. For those wondering how this burgundy compares to the previous one used on the Calypso Jr., here you go. It can be hard to tell exactly what shade a knife is when looking on the internet, as most people's monitors vary in color temp and calibration, so I included my ColorChecker card so the colors can be compared to calibrated swatches.
top to bottom: burgundy Calypso Jr., burgundy 2015 Forum Native 5, and purple 2013 forum Native.

I am getting jealous. Mine is schedule to arrive on Tuesday.
For me the color is beautiful. Of cause not as beautiful as dark green, still one of the best. :)

Mine arrived today! And it is quite lovely. I like the snap closed sound a bit more than the 2013 Forum Native. Color is nice too! (Great sharpness out of box.)
Some photos with friends:

Also, I wasn't expecting the textured back spacer. A nice surprise that I like!

Here are some 2015 Forum Native pics taken while mountain biking. I am really enjoying this knife--the action on mine was great out of the box, and I'm finding that I don't mind the hard edges on the handle as much as I thought I would (compared to the Native 1).
Also, thanks to Spyderco for including a 2015 product guide, mid-year supplement, price sheet, and cool camo sticker with my order!

Wow this thing is light!! I have a question though, did Spyderco stop putting little cards in with forum knives that state it's a special edition?

Mine came with a paper explaining the knife.

Love the new forum knife. This here is a very capable pair that combined weigh less than most knives on the market.
