Dodo

More extinct Dodo's were found on my Dodo tree outside my front yard :)
I quickly grabbed my camera and followed them around and catalogued their movements for a few brief moments.

It seems to me that Dodos are not extinct, they just moved to Australia. :)
Beautiful pictures Dan, you have great yard and cute birds. Just don't let your girls to play with them, at least yet.

Dan the pics look great. I guess we can add blue and black DoDo's to the list of unusual and potentially deadly animals found "down under"

Regarding the orange UKPK, now every-time I see it I will here the Wanta Fanta song in my head

Daniel,

Very nice photos of your collection of knives. I am especially jealous of your 4 Dodo's, I would love more than anything to have the complete set :( .

Just wait ... I think I might be tempted to get one 'modified'

Yes, I know, I believe my hoard has got to the stage where I am starting to do more using than collecting, and getting them a bit closer to what I am comfortable with is a nice challenge  Oh, maybe a couple more backups just in case.... then pimp away :p

Salsa !

#233

Post by ozspyder »

The stout little Salsa took my breath away. Maybe it was its minty fresh colouration that did it. The cool touch of the green almite handles felt very nice. Solid compression lock is amazingly strong. And oh ! the infamous cobra hood that people either love or hate :)

Personally I find this knife quite nice to handle. The 'fatness' of the blade, or breadth of it is a concern for many people. If you only take one knife then it's OK for larger pockets. I can see the concern though. For the blade length there is an awful lot of steel behind it. Then again, the chunky little green knife is meant to be NKP friendly.

Here are a few pics.

Great Salsa pics Dan. I like the way the color shifts from a hot green to a cool green, very cool.

FG G10 Manix PE

#237

Post by ozspyder »

Manix - Foliage Green G10 PE sprint run

The tank has been reincarnated in newer clothing. Gone is the tactical black, in with the calmer FG colour. Not everyone's cup of tea, either in colour or size of knife.

I like it though. It is a very large and heavy folder, and would definitely drag your shorts down if you went jogging with it :p

Enough talk, here are the pics...

Very impressive. It looks like you had eleven reasons to buy Manix.
Which one is your favorite? :) :D

Dan,
I did not even know Spyderco made that many Manixes
You might have some tough time picking up one for rotation :D
Great pictures though!
