Yup…

I don’t buy things at regular prices. Not only that, but the OpFocus discount dropped from 50% to 40%, so I haven’t bought anything but Mules from them since. It’s just not worth it.

Definitely nice be at this point in collecting!

It is nice to not “need” any specific knife, but it is annoying to be deterred from new purchases by the exorbitant price tags on anything interesting these days.

“Collecting,” though, is a bit of a stretch…
I’ve “accumulated” more knives than I know what to do with!

Serrated K390 is something everyone should experience.

I'm just a newbie here, but I think that the S35vn Resilience direct from the mother ship for $70 is a crazy good deal. I just received mine and I'm impressed by the quality of it. Fluid action, tight lock up, and very sharp.

I haven’t myself. However, they are well regarded on Reddit knife_deals and post there regularly.

I have practically zero need for it but I still have a serrated Endela wharncliffe in my cart at National Knives. It's hard to pass-up for $58.50 out-the-door.

Got one of these from Chicago Knifeworks for a similar price recently. Such a great knife and great value at that price.

So far I've been able to resist, which is probably a sign that I don't really need this one.

But your situation was different -- I would've been tempted to go hog-wild with that Pacific deal. Will you ever get that much knife for under fifty bucks again? I'm doubtful, but here's to hoping.
