I don’t think those are G10 scales. They’re some black coated stainless steel. I got excited when I first saw it in the reveal, but then disappointed when I realized they’re s/s.

Correct, it is a TiCN coated stainless steel handle.

For what it's worth, Spyderco lists the knife as "POLICE MODEL™ BLACK STAINLESS BLACK BLADE"

Police VG-10 Black TiCN Blade PlainEdge Black TiCN Stainless C07BK (Japan) is/was available at some US dealers.

Lil' Native Lightweight CTS-BD1N Satin Blade PlainEdge Black FRN C230PBK (USA) is starting to trickle in to some US dealer.

Thanks guys, I'll pass on a steel-handled version and I'll pass on VG-10.

I love my P4 in K390 so much, but they're unobtanium.

I want something similar with G-10 scales and maybe Magnacut...
