After the cringefest called the dessert warrior, this pops up on YT knife channels. Each to their own I guess......oh, and if somebody can pass the eyebleach that would be great.

That’s too much. I already thought they were milking the donut dessert warrior theme more than they should have but they’ve really taken it a few steps too far now. I almost feel second hand embarrassment knowing those knives are a real part of todays knife market. :grimace

I would love to see a survival field test with the hot dog knife.

Or see how a cop would react if they saw the clip and asked to see your knife…

the dessert warrior was funny initially. it's played out now. the rest of those were an april fools joke, but i wouldn't be surprised if they made an appearance in real life eventually.

i sincerely thought the dessert warrior was hilarious and right up my alley for humor. i missed the first run, but was very happy to get one in the second run. now, all the many knives and other products they've applied this "colorway" to just cheapens the whole thing. this move just makes it worse. at least there is a funny story behind the one that started all of this. now it kind of feels like a watching a star wars movie made by disney, knowing every character is designed solely for marketing and extracting money from parents.

I fail to understand ---

Heavy, space consuming folding knives (if I wanted something heavy and bulky in my pocket or hanging off my belt I would get a CC permit, and use it)

Frame-lock knives that lack an over-travel stop

Titanium frame-lock knives that lack a wear-reducing steel cap on the titanium lock-bar

Steel lock bar inserts. Unnecessary in a properly constructed titanium frame lock :shush CRK has been successfully building frame-locks without a lock-bar insert for over 30 years.

Don’t the 31s use a ceramic ball interface?
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Correct. It started with the 25, then the Inkosi & 31.
So it goes.

My nieces would love that too.

Personally, I don’t mind the donut theme dessert warrior but I think they’re just taking the concept too far. The clever humor is gone and now they’re just relying on using the word “wiener” to be funny. If there’s a market for it and they can make money, more power to them but it’s not for me.
