CPM REX 45 | Edge Performance

I love my Rex 45 Para 3 LW. I've had it going on 3 years I think, and no patina. I wipe it clean after use. Love how easy it is to sharpen and it holds that edge a decent length of time. Same for my N5.

I probably already posted in this thread a few years ago, but Rex45 was the first steel I really loved and remains my favorite. I've also had great results in sharpening anywhere from 14-18dps and going anywhere from a 230 grit finish and up to 800 (which is what I consider a fine finish)

I've used it extensively in various models and it's never let me down. Even with some later and great steels that have come out lately...Rex45 remains a king to me.
