Yes, Bob and REKAT did get a cease-and-desist for the use of "Hobbit" from, I believe, United Artists. Nevertheless, he continued to use his personal signature "THFH"--"The Hobbit from ****."

Yes, JRR Tolkien sold the film/movie rights to United Artists before he died. The Tolkien Estate has ownership of all literary rights to his work.
In your opinion would you say this folder is good for both combat and everyday use, or it is more of a folding combat knife and it would be better for a person to carry a more utilitarian blade for that?
