Oooooohhhhh yeeeaaahhh...
Thank you Sal for the welcome! I find it admirable that the founder of Spyderco always welcomes new members to the forum. I have been a satisfied Spyderco user for over 15 years because of their great products and customer support.

As a card-carrying metal head, I won't go THAT far. But I'm really intrigued at the prospect of having both a plain and serrated edge MagnaMax. The big question is how I'm going to finish them. The handles need to be distinguishable from each other, yet maintain a similar look. What to do... what to do...
I have two in my kitchen knife block. I use them often but the Magna Max in both plain and serrated may replace the two I have there if I get lucky on drop. I think it would be fun to make some custom scales from epoxy and use a spyderco catalog to make into a decorative micarta. That or have rare earth magnets glued in the scales instead of using screws to clamp the scales on the knife where the holes are. This way you could have one scale set for all the mules, minus the ceramic one but that could be a special dedicated one. This would be great for cleaning the knife, especially for the non stainless ones. Maybe someone can cad the scales with the appropriate hole size and position for the magnets and put them on thingverseJoviAl wrote: ↑Thu Aug 14, 2025 2:18 amI’m planning on using mine in the kitchen but am undecided between G10 and Terotuff, although I love a bit of burlap micarta!RustyIron wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 10:22 pm
