These are my fanciest Spydies. Two Chaparral's and a Caly 3.5 in CF and ZDP-189. Another fancy one I would love to get is the Vallotton Sub-hilt.

I think the bolstered Persians were some of the nicest "fancy" knives Spyderco has produced. Unfortunately I don't own one or I'd post a photo. My fanciest one is the Hungarian and it really is beautiful. I also rate my Ed Schempp Bowie as one of Spyderco's nicest knives

The Mamba, in my opinion. Still the highest quality carbon fiber I've ever owned, at any price point.

Man If that chaparral were done in Moki with black linen micarta and stainless pins I’d love it so much more, I believe it would have made for a more worthy “follow up” to the kopa series. And sort of a close hybrid off the calypso/caly series, as they are both mid lockbacks with very much the same general features involved. I think the chaps are good looking knives and very functional, especially for people who like to be able to take down the hardware. For me personally, I think a knife has a fancier look with pins, as opposed to what we get on the chaparral, scale cutouts for the screws and and inset domed screws, to me that gives a knife a more modern utilitarian appearance, which is fine. Old school knife handles will always look cooler to me though, especially on a elegant design using other fancy materials
(Edit: or if that stepped titanium chap had the same kind of pivot the g10 sprint calypso does, large flat circle pivot that’s been surface milled in a spiral. Instead of a boring domed inset cut t8.)
